Fun Fun Fun Bandung [2010]

Phewww. After 4 days struggling to finish the workloads that I left before boarding on the plane to KL – Bandung – KL, here I am again peeps! (Bercuti adalah seronok, namun masuk ke pejabat selepas bercuti adalah nightmare! Wohoo!) To update the details on our fun fun fun holidays at Bandung is impossible as I have an appointment in a short while, so here is a rough daily activity while we were at Bandung!

Day 1 (Thursday, 21.10.2010)

*Note : Time stated is according to Bandung time = one (1) hour earlier.


10.45 a.m :

Safely arrived at Bandung Airport (Husein Sasteranegara International Airport).
Picked up by the Hotel's staff as it is included in our package.

12.00 p.m :
Check in at Orange Homes Bandung

Orange Homes Bandung is more like Guest House (as it says so!). It is just 15 minutes from the airport. The room’s rate is around RM95.00 per night (including breakfast) and their services are superb! The room is so so so clean & there is every day room cleaning services.

Bagi kami yang hanya berada di hotel pada malam hari di mana aktiviti siang adalah berkisar kepada tours and shopping, Orange Homes Bandung adalah pilihan yang berbaloi. The Manager, Encik Irvan replied to my queries (thru emails) very fast dan amatlah soft spoken orangnya.

1.30 p.m :
After Zohor prayer – off to Pasar Baru by Unser (Rp225,000 / RM80.00 per day includes driver, petrol, toll, parking) and had our lunch there (Restoren Kalimantan). Our tour guide, Mas Raof sangat baik.



5.30 p.m :
Went to Toko Tiga – jeans street. Heaven ok? Full stop.



9.00 p.m :
Back to hotel and dinner.

Day 2 (Friday, 22.10.2010)

8.00 a.m : Breakfast at hotel.

9.00 a.m : Went to Tangkuban Perahu
About one hour journey from Bandung. We went to Tangkuban Perahu by Innova and still maintain the same tour guide, Mas Raof. (Rp550,000 / RM200.00 per day includes driver, petrol, toll, parking).

10.15 a.m :
Arrived Tangkuban Perahu. Entrance fees – Rp50,000 per pax + Rp12,500 per car)



12.00 p.m :
Off to Rumah Mode (Factory Outlet Store). Baby clothing and jeans are heaven in here!



2.00 p.m : Lunch at Nasi Padang Sederhana. Marvelous foods! Solat.

3.30 p.m : Pasar Baru (again!)

5.30 p.m :
Passing by Cihampelas Walk to Jalan Dago FOS. Watched ‘Monkey Show’ at the traffic light. Khayra was excited! – went to FOS Grande at Jalan Dago and FOS along Jalan Riau.

9.00 p.m : Back to hotel. Dinner.

Day 3 (Saturday, 23.10.2010)

8.00 a.m : Breakfast

9.00 a.m :
To Kawah Putih at Ciwidey. Took about 2 hours journey. Maintained the used of Innova and the same tour guide, Mas Raof. (Rp550,000 / RM200.00 per day includes driver, petrol, toll, parking).



11.30 a.m :Reached Kawah Putih. Weather - cold. Beautiful scenery!
Entrance fees : Rp15,000 per pax + Rp150,000 per car. Rate would be differ if you are using their car (angkutan).

2.30 p.m :Massive jam. Banjir akibat hujan lebat on our way to Cibaduyut. Lunch at Sundanese Restaurant – Ampera. Solat.

3.45 p.m : Cibaduyut – Leather shoes, bags, jackets etc.



5.30 p.m : Cihampelas Walk (FOS).

7.00 p.m : Went to Toko Tiga (again!). Heheh.

8.30 p.m : Back to hotel. Dinner.

Day 4 (Sunday, 24.10.2010)

8.00 a.m : Breakfast. Met Hubby’s friend – Ayu from B*NM.

9.00 a.m : Last shopping for souvenirs – in front of the hotel.

10.00 a.m : Packing.

11.30 a.m :Check out. Went to the airport (hotel transfer’s package) Encik Irvan, the Manager sendiri yang hantar kami ke airport.

3.00 p.m : Flight to KL. *Airport tax : Rp75,000 per pax

Overall :

- Enjoying the great company (My parents, my Hubby & daughter, my brothers & my cousin)
- Enjoying shopping at FOS, Toko Tiga and Rumah Mode.
- Enjoying Nasi Padang (than Masakan Sunda).
- Enjoying beautiful scenes (Tangkuban Perahu & Kawah Putih)
- Orange Homes Bandung adalah bersih dan kami amat berpuas hati.
- Jalan masuk ke Orange Homes – agak sempit.
- Tour guide kami, Mas Raof sungguh baik, sopan dan banyak membantu kami.
- Khayra sangat behave (dalam semua keadaan dan pada semua hari) Heh.
- Nak pergi lagi, please? Hehehe :P
