Lil Updates on Lil One

Some updates on our Lil Darling who will be 6 months-old soon (on 01.01.2010) [Setengah tahun dah? Sekejapnya masa!] Here is a list of her progress so far:-

1. She started to smile when she was 2 days old!

2. Tanggal pusat when she was 5 days-old. [Tidur meniarap since then].

3. Boleh pusing kepala sendiri (to the left/right side) ketika tidur meniarap when she was 10 days-old.

4. We believed that Lil Darling started ‘crawling’ during her nap when she was 18 days-old. Haha. Time Ibu check Khayra mula-mula tidur menegak, check sekali lagi dah melintang dah dalam baby cot dia.

5. She says the word (sounds like) ‘naakk’ whenever she is hungry when she was 30 days-old.

6. First potong kuku (with Tok Abah) when she was 42 days-old. (Kuku Khayra tak panjang-panjang since lahir!)

7. She started to turn to her side by herself and meniarap exactly when she was 4 months-old.

8. Two weeks later she was able to turn 360 degrees and made her ‘journey’ dari Utara ke Selatan, Timur ke Barat secara berpusing. Heh.

9. Lil Darling pegang botol susu sendiri when she was 5 months-old.

10. Since last week (when she was 5 months and 2 weeks-old), Lil Darling called me ‘Mam-ma’ instead of ‘I-bu’ – According to Umi, Khayra would only shout out the word ‘Mam-ma’ if I’m around her.

Learn From Mistake

1. Kerja di pejabat semakin menimbun la sekarang. End of year syndrome. Haish.
   
   
2. Semalam ada buat silap. Documentation Bank. Silap sebab over looked. Tapi tade effect sangat. Tapi susah la nk kompromi dengan Bank sebab kalau hitam kata Bank, hitam la kena buat. In return kena buat application for court order. Nasib baik Ex-Parte application. Sedih la sebab tak check betul-betul. Sila ketuk kepala saya supaya saya akan ingat sampai bila-bila.
   
   
3. Merujuk No. 2 di atas, nasib Bos tak marah saya. Bos marahkan legal system (boleh?). Ok, Bos baik! (sebab tak marah saya. Ngee)
   
   
4. Pastu Bos cakap dia pun pernah buat mistake yang sama 10 tahun yang lalu. Sekarang dah tahu kenapa Bos tak marah. Hehe. Keyword di sini adalah ‘check’. Ingat tu Wahida, check!
   
   
5. Saya selalu rasa down (sikit) kalau buat salah. Sebab kalau salah, laaagiiii banyak kerja nak kena buat. Rectify lah, initials lah, chop lah, cancel lah etc. Lagi menambah (beban) kerja yang sedia ada.
   
   
6. Tapi saya akui melalui kesilapan itu, kita dapat belajar. Sila nyanyi lagu “Buah cempedak di luar pagar, ambil galah tolong jolokkan… yada.. yada…” Heh. Saya baru belajar ilmu (praktikaliti) undang-undang ini 3 tahun. Baru sahaja genap 3 tahun pada 07.12.2006 yang lalu. Boleh la terima excuse saya ini ya?
   
   
7. Sudah insaf (dan rasa bersalah) sebab tidak dimarahi oleh Bos. Jadi telah bertekad dan berazam mahu buat kerja dengan betul-betul. Siap janji dengan diri, “no internet surfing other than things that are related to work (ONLY) during office hours”. Tapi siapalah saya, saya update status FB selepas 3 jam bertahan. Woohoo. Sila maafkan saya, saya rindu Encik Suami ketika itu. Heh.
   
   
8. On a different topic, saya nak ucapkan terima kasih pada inventor(s) tudung Ariani. Sungguh mudahlah. Bertambah mudah when you are a working mom. There will be not enough time for you (me) to wear your (my) tudung with all kinds of brooches, semat sana, pin sini, betulkan depan, kelepet sisi etc. With that kind of tudung (Ariani is a brand right?), it’s just make your life simple, pakai, letak brooch tengah then there you go. Tanpa tengok cermin pun boleh. Heh. Ok, I am not pemalas in that way, tapi tak cukup masa sebab nanti nak BF baby lagi, prepare breakfast lagi. Yang penting tudung sebegini (IMHO) selamat terutama semasa dukung baby sebab saya takot brooch berhampiran bahu terkena pada baby. Heh.
   
   
9. Saya tertunggu-tunggu nak tengok season finale Desperate Housewives semalam. Siap sms Husband supaya sampai dari KL before 9.00pm. Tetibe dapat tahu 2 hours season finale start at 8.00pm. Frust giler sebab bukak Channel 711 pukul 9.00pm. Sob. Sob.
   
   
10. Saya tertarik dengan entri Saudara SaifulNang : Rags to Riches 7 – It’s A Small World in the End, bertarikh 9hb Disember, 2009. Menarik lah! Go and read peeps! Inspiring indeed.
    
    
11. Ok, sudahlah. Timbunan kerja memanggil-manggil sekarang. Mahu buat kerja pula. Insaf sudah.

First Week of December

Ok, a simple post (I hope) pertaining to a few events which occurred last week :-

Event 1: While everyone was settling down for the last month of the year 2009, a few strangers (we believe there must be more than one person) have broken into our office on 01.12.2009. The whole office was a mess when we entered the office early that morning. And after lodging a report, it only took 3 hours for the police to come to the office and initiated 'investigations'. *sigh. To help you imagine the chaotic state of the office, here are few pictures for your viewing pleasure. Alhamdulillah, nothing much was stolen except for my colleague’s coin collection amounting to RM170.00 which he left on his table (but thank God, nobody got hurt as it happened during night time).

So for the rest of the day, we spent cleaning up the office, re-arranging all the files and everything and while waiting for the police, went to a kopitiam for the “Legal Assistants’ review on the office invasion.” Hahah! Tade keje.

Event 2: Id had informed us earlier that she will getting married in December so we made plans to attend her wedding loonnng before she distributed her gorgeous card, forwarded the invitation via Facebook and formally informed us on the wedding date (hence we managed to book flight tickets and paid ONLY for the taxes – its Z.E.R.O. fare, I tell you! Weeee!).

It was such a lovely wedding and to witness your best friend’s akad nikah (04.12.2009) as well as attending the reception (05.12.2009) was very meaningful to me. I've had known Id and befriended her for [almost] 20 years ... In a nutshell - we attended the same Primary School, SRKDJ (tapi tak sama kelas), attended the same Primary School, STF, were dorm-mates in STF, kept in touch through emails, sms and phone-calls during Uni years and when she was studying in UK, had the opportunity to meet up during my visit to UK in 2005. We even continued our friendship even after I got married as my Husband and Id used to work together in B*NM - we would catch up on things when I was preggy (masih teringat mempelam Mak Id bagi, yum yum), met Irfan for the first time (dan sempat bergambar kat Petronas station, buleh?). Her engagement was the same as my 1st Anniversary (so senang aku ingat ye?). And recently, went to our precious 10-years STF Reunion together... the list goes on and I hope it goes on and on ...



To my Dearest Id (and Irfan), Congratulations on your wedding and thank you for your friendship!

P/s: Id, aku tak sangka boleh jumpe Cikgu-cikgu STF (Cik Rosnah, Miss Raha & Cik Safiah) kat wedding ko! Seriously terkejut they were there that nite.


Event 3: We managed to squeeze some time for Lil Darling first swimming ‘lesson’ during this trip to KL. Hahah! Biar pun air adalah sejuk that morning, Lil Darling enjoyed being in the pool with her Abah, Pak Ngah and Abang Eirfan.

Event 4: And not forgetting, everytime we (myself and my beloved Ummi) make a trip to KL, S*ogo is a must! Hahah! In conjunction with Y.E.S, we (Hubby included. Haha!) went for a crazy shopping spree that day. And Lil Darling...? Well she enjoyed posing beside the Christmas Trees. Haha, irrelevant.
