JB - Singapore Trip

.

I know I have been delayed with this entry (and its gonna be quite a longgg entry, so please bear with me, ok?!). Sempena my brother's birthday who was entering his ‘Three-Big-O’ on 22.04.2010, here is a quick update on our recent (?) visits to JB in March, 2010.

We started our journey (tumpang kereta Abang) from KT to JB early in the morning and it took us about 7 hours to reach JB. Saya dah jadi macam iklan P*etronas – burung murai akan tanya Abang, “lambat lagi ke?” secara berulang kali. Wakaka! Penat seh, jauh sangat rasa. Lepas bangun tidur, borak, dengar lagu, berhenti makan etc., still tak sampai-sampai. Hahah! FYI ini adalah trip pertama ke JB selepas saya dan Suami berkahwin and it was like 2 years (could you believe that?! LOL!) I haven’t been in JB. Waaaaa, lamaaaa! I blame on our status as PJJ before. Kah kah! Bukan tanak pergi, tapi kesibukan hari minggu as PJJ, lepas tu saya pregnant and gave birth to my Lil Darling, berpantang, Khayra kecik lagi nak jalan jauh, Abang datang spend time kat KL hari minggu yada yada yada, so tak berpeluang nak pergi until March, 2010. Itu pun setelah booking tiket balik ke KT dengan direct flight from Singapore (its Firefly, bebeh!), so macam bersemangat lah nak pergi. Lagi-lagi Abang dah beli rumah baru, so macam gi housewarming lah.

Khayra slept (almost all the times) during the journey. Tengok tu, mimpi apa sampai pegang-pegang kepala. LOL!

Kami selamat tiba di JB jam 12 tgh hari and Abang bawa kami lunch di Asam Pedas Tasek. Yummies!

Ngee. Ramai orang tak tahu akan rasa pelik, tapi it tastes good. Saya belajar makan goreng pisang cicah kicap ni time belajar di STF 15 tahun dahulu. Yummeh!

Alkisahnya semasa pregnant saya ada jugak terasa (or mengidam?) nak makan goreng pisang kicap tapi setelah Abang menakutkan saya, “nanti baby keluar-keluar hitam” (ha-ha!), saya jadi tak lalu nak makan. Hahah! Jadi waktu kami ke kedai goreng pisang Mawar di JB tempoh hari (Owner kedai sangat rapat dengan Abang dan kakak ipar saya), the following conversations took place:-

Abang : Kak (Owner kedai), ni adik saya dari Terengganu. Time dia pregnant dulu, dia mengidam goreng pisang kicap, sekarang anak 8 bulan (sambil tunjuk Khayra) baru boleh makan. (Sambil gelak)

Kakak : Alah, kesiannya. Takpe hari ni makan banyak-banyak.

So that is us at the famous kedai goreng pisang kicap di JB. And that was the first time my Husband makan goreng pisang kicap and he likes it! Yuhuu!

When my mom went to JB last week, Husband saya dh siap pesan awal-awal nak kirim kuah kicap pisang goreng tu so my mom bawak balik sebotol kuah kicap tu untuk kami. Hahah! So the following conversations took place when my mom and Abang went to kedai goreng pisang Mawar:-

Abang : Kak, adik saya yang datang hari tu pesan kuah kicap goreng pisang nak bawak balik.

Kakak : Oooo, mengidam lagi ke?

Hahahahahahhahhahahhh!!!! When my mom told me about that, I laugh my heart out. Funny lah kakak tuh! LOL!

Ok, sambung entry pulak. After makan goreng pisang kicap petang tu, Abang took us to Angsana and before that I requested to pay a visit to my beloved school : STF so we went to have a photo session there. We went to see Marliza and Daud afterwards dengan membawa pesanan dari Daud yang (mengidam) mahu makan keropok lekor Terengganu. Heh!

The next day, Abang and my sister in law bawak kami lunch di restoren ayam goreng yang sedap after brought us to Kip Mart (DVDs hunting) and JJ.

We went to Singapore on Friday with the courtesy of Marliza and Daud (thank you!) who had applied for a leave and took us to Singapore. I have already posted an entry regarding our visit to Singapore here.

Those photos were taken in front of Abang’s (new) house in Skudai, Johore before we departed to Changi International Airport (Budget Terminal / Terminal 4), Singapore to KT. We have to take taxi from Wisma Landmark, JB to Singapore’s taxi check point (cost us RM60) and from there we have to take another taxi (Singapore taxi) to Changi International Airport which costs us SGD14 (around RM32). It took us about 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach KT from Singapore.

So that’s all for now! Ngee.
