Phew. Another update before the month of August comes just around the corner and before I forgot of all the details :D
I have never joined any Family Day organized by the State Bar ever since I started practice in end of year 2006. This year, Hubby was so excited to join and dragged me and Khayra too! Bila dah join tetibe nak join treasure hunt jugak so memang excited lah kami. Tapi soalan dia memang mencabar minda lah, lagi-lagi with Khayra in the car, kami tak boleh concentrate sangat nak cari harta karun dan berpuas hati dengan kedudukan top 10 sahaja. Weee!
Family Day State Bar tahun ini telah diadakan di Kenyir Lake Resort and Spa (KLRS). Cantik tau resort dia. Yelah kalau dah standard room adalah RM350 per night kan? Treasure hunt berkumpul di Pejabat Tanah jam 8.30 pagi and after a short briefing from our Marshall, kami dilepaskan jam 9.00 pagi. Reached at the last check point i.e at the Resort itself at 11.30am.
After having our packed lunch (sponsored by State Bar), semua berkumpul di lobby dan proceed to tennis court untuk acara sukaneka dan acara sukan.
Malam adalah acara BBQ dinner dan lucky draw. Best tau. Saya aim nak trolley bag and being lucky I was that night, the trolley bag became mine! (Boleh guna bawak gi Bandung nanti. Teehee) Weee! :D Hadiah utama adalah basikal dan fridge! Wooohoo!
Pagi selepas breakfast adalah acara bebas. Ramai lah menuju ke swimming pool yang ada slides tu. Tapi disebabkan hujan gerimis, tak jadilah bawa Khayra into the swimming pool but we opted on the boat riding where we were charged for RM20 per head for 1 hour ride. Cheap huh? Oh, one thing about the Resort, kita kena amik buggy service untuk keluar dari room ke kawasan sekitar Resort termasuk ke lobby. Kereta diletakkan di tempat kereta and the rest of the journey in the area are by calling the buggy service.
We had so much fun bila join Family Day State Bar dan rasa menyesal tak join dari dulu. Hehe. Now can’t wait to join next year’s Family Day! :D
